If noone's already tested it with the above target I'll be happy to test
it on my SparcStation 4 running Linux and post reports if required - but
it will be slow and time consuming, hence my question to avoid duplication
with others' efforts.
System has the following installed
binutils 2.10.1
glibc 2.1.3
gcc 2.95.3
kernel 2.2.19
