   The problem is the other way round: it's Purify that doesn't support
   GCC 2.95.*.

Well, yes, but the question still stands.  How do we make things work?
Purify has found many a problem in free software also, so total
rejection of the question hurts free software too.

I agree that it would be easier for us if Irrational fixed it, but
as I said, they are not likely to anytime soon.
