Re: GCC developers and standards development

GNAT is definitely part of the game, its original development was
funded (in part) to help defining and testing Ada 95 implementation
issue, the Ada 95 validation tests were mostly developped with an eye
on GNAT.

I believe some ACT people are members of various committee. I was
invited once to discuss issues with the distributed annex (part of the
regular language maintenance).

Ada vendors have set up an association URL: <http://www.adaic.org/>,
and extension proposals and standardization are discussed net-wide,
some extensions comes from proprietary compilers and are implemented
in GNAT and vice-versa.
