Ok, I had a go at it on my Linux/Athlon machine. So far, I compiled the kernel
(2.4.4-ac9), glibc (2.2.3 from CVS), and XFree86 (184.108.40.206 from CVS) and
installed them. All was compiled using -O2 -march=athlon, and all seems to
work fine :)
My only issue has been reported in GNATS: c/2728. It might be due to the
inliner, but that's just a wild guess... For some reason, the Priority is not
marked high, though.
Haven't tried Qt and KDE yet...
Things are looking quite good.
