I'd guess you're seeing ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/releases/index.html
which hasn't been updated since the 2.95.3 release, apparently.
Try ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/releases/gcc-2.95.3/gcc-2.95.3.tar.gz, or
better yet, pick a mirror site.

The GCC site distributes source code. You could try one of the usual
Solaris sites, or if you have a previous compiler installed, bootstrap the
2.95.3 release yourself.
