Dear mailing list:
What combination of HOST, TARGET and BUILD do I need to get a
sparc64-linux->sparc64-linux gcc, with the name sparc64-linux-gcc?
Should I "make bootstrap", and will this require any libc if I specify
--disable-shared in the configure parameters? I currently only have the
working sparc32-linux-gcc.2.95.2 included with my distro, and I would
really like to get a sparc64 userland going.
Which gcc cvs version (and which libc version) would be best to get a
working version of glibc for sparc64-linux? Right now, I'm getting lots of
eliminate_regs problems.
By the way, if there are HOWTOs for 64-bit SPARC userland and I just
haven't noticed them in the past (I found none) plese do notify me. Thanks
in advance for your answers to any combination of these questions.
Sincerely,
Sean Callanan
