Once upon a time, there was a version of gcc for Microsoft Windows
platforms. I know it existed, because I used to be able to find it and
download it very easily, but now it's gone, or at least hidden somewhere.
Since I am not a mind reader, and you search engine turns up nothing, maybe
you could provide me with a clue or two as to where I might look ??
Yes I found this Cygnus site. It isn't very specific what platform it's for
and since it seems to be imprinted with Red Hat, and the packages are tar.gz
files, it doesn't look like Microsoft, but the download mechanism downloads
a setup.exe file, which for some reason then downloads a setup.ini file, and
then nothing seems to happen. I any idea what one does with these setup
files.
Please consider that most of up do not live in your house, so we are not
constantly aware of where you put all your stuff. If you want something to
be found, it's usually a good idea to make it visible, and not encumber it
with complicated dependances.
Some help would be nice.
