Yeah, this has really hammered gcc.gnu.org's T1 connection.  I set the
anonymous logins down temporarily but the mirrors are still swamping the
connection.  It's causing real delays in email.

FWIW, this seems to be a pretty high-speed connection in the US:

ftp://mirrors.rcn.net/mirrors/sources.redhat.com/gcc/releases/gcc-2.95.3/
