A wish list of features for IA-64 support in gcc is now posted at
http://linuxia64.org/gcc_wish.html, at the web site that is "The
Official Home Page of the IA-64 Linux Project". The information in the
wish list is extracted from mail about what could be done to improve
IA-64 code generation in gcc; most of it is from Jim Wilson. It also
has Jim's latest information about IA-64 support that does exist in
gcc. I'll continue to add new information to the list.
