On what platforms? I had no problems to bootstrap the 3.0 branch on a
sgi-mips-irix6.5 host. The same failed on a sparc-unknown-linux-gnu
system with an "internal compiler error". Snapshot was taken at about
15:00 UTC this afternoon.
