I wasn't able to reproduce this with a gcc tree that I updated yesterday.
It is common for gcc to break and then get fixed the next day, so this may
have been a temporary problem.
You probably want to be using the gcc3 branch instead of the mainline sources
at this point. They will be more stable, and it is more important that they
work.
