I documented in invoke.texi that -V 2.95.2 won't work with GCC 3.0. I'd
be happy to see -V and -b go, provided that links by names such as gcc-3.0
to the driver program get installed by make install so there's a
functional way of calling older compiler versions. (See the installation
projects list.)
