Ummm:
almond$ uname -a
HP-UX almond B.10.20 E 9000/817 1799083141 8-user license
almond$ gcc --version
2.95.2
almond$ cat config.status
#!/bin/sh
# This file was generated automatically by configure. Do not edit.
# This directory was configured as follows:
./configure --with-gcc-version-trigger=/usr/local/src/GNU/gcc/gcc/version.c --host=hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20 --with-gnu-as --norecursion
# using "mh-frag"
I'm confused by the statement that 2.95.2 doesn't bootstrap on hpux with gas.
