cc0 query

Hi,
  I am trying to understand rtl. I have a small doubt
 about cc0 (condition code register).
      When you are building a cross compiler btween
 a host and target , which differ in word size
(register size), are the falgs in cc0  still hold
meaning ?

 In that case How to take the advantage of cc0 ??
