That sounds like a good idea. See the linux archives archives for
past problems and their solutions. The linux crowd is better able to
explain the changes to their software they had to make, than we are.
As for the changes to our software, if you grab a recent gcc, it will
already have ~all of them in it, so that you won't have to worry about
them.

The charter of this list isn't to help people port old Linux kernels.
Having said that, if you come across something that is gcc specific,
that you need help or advice with, then you're back in the realm of
gcc.
You can start your own list, and invite people from this list to join
it that are interested in it...
