To whom it may concern
I have a macintosh with a ppc750 processor and I am running MacOS X PR3.
I have downloaded gcc-2.95 uncompressed it, and when I try to build it,
when I am running the "configure" program it tells me:
../configure: read-only variable: PWD [152]
Config.guess failed to determine the host type. You need to specify
one.
Usage: configure [OPTIONS] [HOST]

I assume that when this version was created MacOSX was not around yet.
I would like to know if it is possible to have this compiler on my
machine, and what I would need to be doing differently, if it is.
Thanks!!!
