Can anybody point me to info/procedures (or suggest steps to take)
about how I might best merge development that has been going on for
the 'ARC' (Cores) port into GCC and related tools like 'binutils' and
gdb?
I'll help take care of the GCC stuff if you can get me the diffs that
were done by your customer.
The port is currently based on an out-of-date release of GCC (v
2.8.50)
For those on the GCC list, "2.8.50" was the designation I used when I gave
sources to a customer of ARCcores. That was the top-of-FSF tree at the
time plus some major changes I made to the ARC target.
What has to happen (for GCC, I can't speak for binutils and GDB, but that's
out of scope of this list anyway) is that I need a diff from the current
sources that customers is using against the "2.8.50" I sent him. As you may
know, I've been nagging him for months for that diff.
