Hi,

I've been following gcc development for a by lurking on the mailinglists
and browsing through the ChangeLog to spot new features...

However, I still do not understand half of the entries in there, so I found
the "NEWS" items on the website very useful in following the development.

Unfortunately the last item is from May 2, but I think a lot of stuff
has happened in the meantime. :/

I think it would be very useful for outsiders to follow the development
of gcc if the NEWS entries would be used, even if they only contain brief
snippets...
