This all sounds good to me. The only question is whether to have a
cron daemon or to use the CVS commit-trigger mechanism. The latter is
apparently thought by many to be fragile (although I've used in with
some success). I think whichever approach you're more happy with is
fine.
The other thing is that we'll obviously need approval from the people
who administer gcc.gnu.org. I don't anticipate any trouble -- but I
also have nothing to say about how that machine gets configured.
