Re: Has anyone compiled Linux 2.2.1x with gcc 2.96?

<from the "Me Too" section>

FWIW, neither 20000530 or 20000612 has built a working kernel for
me. gcc configured with:

../gcc/configure --prefix=/usr/local/opt --enable-libstdcxx-v3 \
                --enable-threads=posix --enable-long-long      \
                --enable-cshadow-headers --enable-namespaces
