OK, so I'll just check in the patch that adds gcc_AC_C_INLINE, which we can
remove after the next autoconf release (and of cause bumping AC_PREREQ). Or
should we require CVS autoconf for the mainline? The requirement for a non
released autoconf has been there before, but I'd rather avoid that.
