Actually that's a mistake I also made repeatedly, for a very simple reason
(which probably applies for Mark as well): LaTeX2e. ;-)

Thanks for your patch, I just installed it.
I absolutely agree that the W3 validator is a very useful tool. If any of
you would like to contribute a script to automatically test all (or a
subset of our pages) on a regular base, I'd certainly appreciate that! :-)
