I noticed there is a lot of garbage in the FOM. I tried to clean it
up, but I can't as I don't have the necessary editing permissions.
General remark: It appears that people use FOM as a bug reporting
mechanism. This is not good.

There are probably more corrections needed, but gcc.gnu.org has just
