I don't understand the point you're trying to make. I don't have the
faintest idea of who wrote this, but, in my reading, the person just
didn't have authority to approve the patch.
Anyway, there's no point in proceeding with this kind of discussion.
It will only contribute to increase the ``somewhat bad mood between
you and Jeff''. Instead, we should be contributing to GCC. So let's
please avoid any further arguments related with these events of the
past, and get your pending patches posted to gcc-patches in the
appropriate format and hopefully approved and installed.
