The interesting question here, of course, is: The stuff is not assigned
to the FSF, so we cannot include it lock, stock and barrel into the GNU
Compiler Collection; however, if the source is released under the GPL,
it might be possible to just rip out the parts we can use to build a
(say, Fortran 95) compiler we *can* assign to the FSF.
But then, I am a physicist, and most definitely, IANAL.
[ However, if not, it might be advisable to those working on the GNU
Fortran 95 compiler to *not* look at the SGI source ]
