I'm trying to configure or even use gcc 2.95.1 on a SunOS 5.6 sparc
Ultra-80. I'm unable to configure or even
use any version of gcc on this system. When compiling a simple program
I get 100's of processes forked ?

Nothing ever finishes. I've downloaded new copies of gcc but during the
./configure I get these same forked processes.
Thanks
