Might I suggest that James Clark's sgmls and jade applications be included
in the release criteria. There have been problems with some gcc release not
compiling this code; a look at release notes for his work should show which
ones were affected.
The sources for these applications can be found at ftp://ftp.jclark.com/
A number of GNU/Linux projects are based on one or both of these tools so a
check now might save those communities problems after formal release. (The
documentation project is one such group.)
