This isn't a criteria, but I'd like to know if we're going to tackle the
i18n questions for 3.0. In it's current form, it'll only work when you
use the complete source tree, as po/POTFILES.in lists all files that contain
translatable messages. This would have to be changed in order to allow a
user that downloads only the parts he needs to configure with --enable-nls.
I'm certainly willing to try to tackle those issues, but I'd need to know if
this would make it into 3.0 as I also have other pending tasks at hand.
And while we're on that point, I'd also like to restate my whish to default
to --enable-nls in CVS.
