iX86 Progress update: I can now bootstrap gcc with bounded pointers.
Uli Drepper is helping me get BP mods into glibc.
Gcc mods for BPs are checked into the gcc CVS branch
"bounded-pointers-branch". Volunteers are welcome to help with this
project.
I need access to a PPC Linux system to develop and debug the PowerPC
runtime. Donated equipment is always welcome, but I'll settle for
remote login privileges. Faster is better (I actually have an ancient
PowerMac 7100 that can run MkLinux>, but it's very sloooow and 32-bit
only).
Let me know if and how you can help.
Thanks,
Greg
