If you do, it'll never get fixed.  The autoconf people (me included
:-) are no longer responsible for config.guess.  It's maintained
separately now.  That's why I'm asking you to write to
config-patches@gnu.org if you think gcc should be looked for if cc
isn't found or doesn't work.
