Since it's the linker that's dumping core, and the linker is HP's
native linker, I don't think this is a GCC bug :-)
It might be an assembler bug triggering a bug in the linker, but then,
again, the assembler is not part of GCC, so it's not a GCC bug :-)
That said, I'm also observing this problem on both HP-UX 10.20 and
11.00. The current solution is to not --enable-shared :-(
Are you using GNU as or the native assembler?
