To Whom it May Concern,
I am receiving the following errors when I try to configure Apache 1.3.9
on HPUX 10.20, 32-bit.
# ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache
Configuring for Apache, Version 1.3.9

Creating Configuration.apaci in src

+ setting C pre-processor to cc -E
+ checking for system header files
+ adding selected modules
+ checking sizeof various data types
+ doing sanity check on compiler and options
** A test compilation with your Makefile configuration

** is not ANSI. Apache requires an ANSI C Compiler, such
** as gcc. The above error message from your compiler
** will also provide a clue.
Aborting!
I am assuming that the gcc compiler that I downloaded is an ANSI C
Compiler.
I downloaded it from the following page:
http://hpux.cae.wisc.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-2.95.2/
I have installed gcc for 10.20 from the package and it is located under
/opt/gcc
I have also set the my PATH to reflect location of gcc.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Have a good day.
