Hi all, this is just a desperate cry for help in case anyone has seen
anything like this
before.
I'm running Solaris 2.7, gcc 2.95.2 and libstdc++ (12/21/99 snapshot).
All of this was,
until a couple hours ago, working fine. I've been building
tons of stuff with this setup and it had been working great.
But now on this one project i'm seeing this error from the linker:
Error: 8 get_file_info() failed for file index:96 file previous to this
one: /...insert
long path to a file here.
I looked through the ld manual and can't find an explanation of this
message. Has anyone
had the pleasure of seeing it before? And if so, what does it mean????
thanks and sorry to bother you,
aaron
