One does not follow from the other. In fact, depending on the secrecy
of a protocol for security is very foolish. (The "technical" term for
this fallacy is "security-through-obscurity". It doesn't work. Consider
the cleverness of virus writers. You think people like that aren't going
to be able to figure out your wire protocol? Making it secret just
makes it a challenge.)
