C Compiler for Motorola Power PC

Hello,

I would like to inquire as to the availability of a "C" compiler for the 
Motorola Power PC micro ( I'll be using the MPC555 varient).  Also, will I 
need to run this on the GNU/Linux OS or can I run it from WIN95/Dos?  Thanks
