I recently upgraded the Berkeley DB library, from version 2.2.0 to
2.2.7 using 2.95.1 on my i586/libc-5.4.46/linux-2.2.12 box. Lots of
things seem to have broken (sendmail, perl) giving the above message.
If I recompile the application, the problem goes away.
Why is this happening and is there another solution?
