A book on C programming.
AFAIR, this is covered in the "C Pitfalls and Traps" as well as the FAQ
in the comp.lang.c. Search for "Sequence points" in your travels.
(I think this is even the very example given....)
These lists are for compiler development issues. Please don't use them
to learn C.
