Any successful builds of QT 1.44 with gcc 2.95 / glibc 2.1.1 on i386?

Hello!

Is there anybody who was successful to build QT 1.44 with gcc 2.95 for glibc
2.1.1 on i386 linux. QT 1.44 makes trobule on my system (internal compiler
error) and it would be very useful if I know whether this is a general problem
or a problem caused by my system configuration.
