Hi,
probably not the most correct place to ask, but as it is gcc-2.95
related ... :-)
Building gcc-2.95 on the alphaev6-dec-osf4.0e went apparently well
until I tried to perform the "gmake check" step. Doing the boostrap
process the first time on this platform, I fetched dejagnu-19990614
from the cygnus ftp server and built it. Besides some warnings about
integer vs. pointer casts it went well.
When I now do "gmake check" in the gcc-2.95 base directory, the
following happens:
- tests for libio and libstdc++ run OK, although warnings about
"Unaligned Access" are displayed for the "expect" binary. The warnings
maybe due to the int vs. pointer stuff, but don't seem to hurt to much.
- all other tests (gcc, g++, objc) fail because: "ERROR: Couldn't find
tool config file for unix".
I looked at the README for dejagnu, but there was no special
mentioning of the alpha platform.
Any help is appreciated
Martin
