Almost forgot to send this out.....
As I mentioned last night, we just did (yet another) mail list reorganization.
One of the tasks from the egcs/gcc merger was to merge the mailing lists from
the two projects. That's what I spent most of last night and part of today
doing. We really wanted this done for the gcc-2.95 release so that we could
advertise the new list addresses.
The official names for our list now look like:
gcc-<whatever>@gcc.gnu.org
egcs-whatever@egcs.cygnus.com will continue to work for a while as part to
give us a transition period.
Subscribe/unsubscribe addresses look like
gcc-<whatever>-subscribe@gcc.gnu.org
gcc-<whatever>-unsubscribe@gcc.gnu.org
Further details are available at
http://egcs.cygnus.com/lists.html
Everyone subscribed to the old egcs lists as well as everyone subscribed to
the old gcc lists has been subscribed to the new lists.
In the near future there will be a relay from the old list address which
will feed into the new lists. ie, if someone sends mail to bug-gcc@gnu.org
it will be forwarded to gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org.
If you have any problems, please feel free to contact me directly at
law@cygnus.com.
Thanks,
jeff
ps. Right now the mail system is still doing a little creative header
rewriting, so outgoing messages to the list have a sender line like:
Sender: owner-gcc-<whatever>@egcs.cygnus.com
Hopefully I'll find an fix that little problem soon.
