Was the issue of egcs, or more aptly, ld not finding mcrt1.o resolved.
I have egcs-1.1.2 using GNU ld 2.8.1 and exhibit the same problem that was
discussed in http://egcs.cygnus.com/ml/egcs/1999-06/msg00791.html. I do
have the Sun cc installed.
If I cut and paste the ld line from gcc -V using the Solaris linker
instead of GNU ld, it can find mcrtl.o.
How should I help resolve this issue?
