Probably the one in the infrastructure subdirectory on the egcs FTP sites,
I think that's still 19981026. Hmm, I just see that I'm still using this
version, I've built 19990209, but not yet installed it :-(. The 19990412
snapshot seems to be bogus, cause it fails during the install phase:

+ make prefix=/var/tmp/dejagnu-root/usr install-dejagnu
/bin/sh ./mkinstalldirs /var/tmp/dejagnu-root/usr /var/tmp/dejagnu-root/usr
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/fsirl/dejagnu/BUILD/dejagnu-19990412/dejagnu'
Making install in baseboards
make[2]: Entering directory
`/home/fsirl/dejagnu/BUILD/dejagnu-19990412/dejagnu/baseboards'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `tic80-board.exp', needed by
`install-boardsDATA'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/fsirl/dejagnu/BUILD/dejagnu-19990412/dejagnu/baseboards'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/fsirl/dejagnu/BUILD/dejagnu-19990412/dejagnu'
make: *** [install-dejagnu] Error 2

Usually I use the latest available version.

Franz.
