My employers standardises on gcc 2.8.1. I've been trying to persuade them
to move to egcs-1.1.2 for a while because 2.8.1 doesn't do namespaces! =)
The sheer irony is that our NT Microsoft Visual DevStudio 5.0 development
environment supports namespaces. How embarrassing.
I'll add my congratulations for the team for a world-class compiler. Might
I suggest a slogan:
"Egcs reaches the parts that other C++ compilers doesn't!"
PS: I need some ammo in my war against my PHBs to get them to install egcs
and nuke gcc 2.8.1. Anyone care to help?
Cheers,
Alex
