So much for using the language features of C++ to build a modular and
flexible design where, because of encapsulation and interfaces and
implementation-hiding, you can upgrade in a modular way, hm?

No, it's my request to know what the devil is going on with that particular
list server so that I know whether I need to resubmit the request or not,
or whatever. And so that if the list server is misbehaving, someone becomes
aware of this fact that can do something about it.

Well, ex-CUUSE-me. I invented a name and it happened to resemble that of a
real place. Big whup. What's more, it's a fact that in less developed areas
internet connectivity tends to be slow and iffy, which isn't to be taken as
an insult against a region and certainly not as an insult against a
culture, but merely a statement of fact about the infrastructure quality in
certain places.

Say, is it just my imagination or is there an uncommonly large
concentration of thin-skinned, humor and sarcasm impaired individuals in
this forum?

What the hell would they have to do with anything? Nothing, as long as the
problem with the mail server doesn't impair their ability to eavesdrop on
every email sent on Earth significantly...
