Firstly, let me thank you all for the work on the egcs project. A couple of points about the website, though: I found it very difficult to find any email addresses on the website at all. Surely this is an oversight? (I was tempted to just try webmaster@ and postmaster@, but I found this address eventually...) My main question, though, is where I can find correlations between the released version numbers (1.1, 1.1.1 etc.) and the number reported by running egcc -v (gcc version egcs-2.90.29 for instance) and used in various Linux distributions (the Debian site, for instance, says that it includes version 2.90.64). I can't find this information anywhere on the site, and I'm not downloading a 8+Mb archive to find out that I've already got it (over 1.5 hours via my ISP, assuming the connection stays up that long, at Deutsche Telecom rates). I - possibly naively - expected to find a list of numbers correlating the releases with the internal references... Chris C
