egcs-1.1.2 testing


Thanks for all the regression test results!  Amazing!  They look good to
far.  There's a couple I want to look at a little more closely for C++
issues, but they look good.

I built and tested glibc-2.1 on my i586 and i686 machines with the egcs-1.1.2
prereleas.  No errors during testing.

I also built & booted linux-2.2.1 on both machines.  No problems.

We need someone to do the same kind of testing for sparcs, alpha & powerpcs.

We've addressed the duplicate symbols problem, which will appear in the
next prerelease (hopefully Monday night -- I'm hoping to get a couple more
issues resolved before making prerelease #2).
