I don't understand that. Is it a reference to some bug? >>
Kevin Maguire posted a complaint about the milliseconds result from
date_and_time(), where he was commenting about the source code from libU77 but
apparently executing the version from PSR's libvast.a. Possibly that caution
has resolved his confusion. I forgot to mention that he could use nm to see
whether his .o files are calling for the PSR version or the libg2c version of
intrinsics. His source code appeared to be compatible with both.
I don't recall whether I have compared the results of your test code on PSR
and g77 alone. This ought to indicate whether one or the other is getting
better results. Along this line, I caused some confusion a while ago by
pointing out that PSR is broken in the automatic array tests because it
bypasses the g77 treatment of automatic arrays, but doesn't provide for
automatic arrays to have more than 2 subscripts.
