Fair enough. The license possibly was compatable with the GPL, though as
it wasn't linked against GCC it didn't matter. SRC Modula-3 isn't
proprietary - it is under a fairly open license. However, it's
descendent (Critical Mass Modula-3 or something?) is a proprietary
compiler based off SRC Modula-3, which was more what I was thinking
about.
