Martin v. Löwis and myself reported the same problems (see egcs-bugs).
All of us use a recent glibc 2.1 test release (I'm not sure what else
is common since I can't access Martin's bug report now).
For comparison: I'm using binutils 2.9.1.0.19, egcs1.1.1, Linux
2.1.132.
Jeff, what's your environment? Has anybody else with a similar
environment been successful in bootstrapping the current egcs CVS
version?
