egcs build report

egcs-1.1.1 built successfully on i386-pc-solaris2.7 (Solaris 7 for Intel),
using default settings. Need to add /usr/ccs/bin to PATH for Sun's as & ar.
I then used egcs to successfully build perl-5.005_02.
